How to Obtain Product Donations
INDUSTRY DONATION PROGRAMS FOR RESIDENT TRAINING
The Association of Academic Cosmetic Dermatology (AACD) is dedicated to enhancing the education and training of dermatology residents by connecting them with industry-donated products. Many leading companies offer donation programs designed to support hands-on training, ensuring that residents gain experience with cutting-edge aesthetic treatments and technologies.
Below, we provide information on how educators and residents can access these valuable resources to improve their training programs.

APPLICATION TIPS
1. Review Eligibility Requirements
Each program has specific criteria for applicants, including resident status, institution affiliation, and intended use of products.
2. Prepare a Strong Application
Clearly outline how the donated products will be used in training, the expected educational outcomes, and the benefits to resident education.
3. Apply Early
Many programs have limited resources and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Submitting your application early increases the chances of approval.
4. Follow Up and Provide Feedback
Some organizations request reports on how their donations were used. Providing feedback may improve future access to similar opportunities.
